Supporting cast and special appearances announced for JTBC drama series ‘Human X Nine Tailed Fox’ starring Gianna Jun and Ji Chang-Wook. Cha Joo-Young, Kang You-Seok, Kim Jong-Soo and Kim Min-Suk will appear in the upcoming drama series in supporting character roles. Hwang In-Yeop, Seol Hyun and Lee Jae-In will also be there to make special appearances.
For supporting character roles, Cha Joo-Young will play Ji Woo-Kyeong. She is the CEO of Wookyeong Entertainment and the good partner of Gu Ja-Hong (Gianna Jun). She is also the only person who knows that Gu Ja-Hong is a gumiho. Kang You-Seok will play Go Tae-Seung. He is Choi Seok’s (Ji Chang-Wook) only friend and the deputy director of the Oseong Museum. Actor Kim Jong-Soo will play Choi Man-Gwan. He is Choi Seok’s grandfather. Kim Min-Suk will play Tiger Beom-Yi from Inwang Mountain. He enjoys a relaxed lifestyle.
For special appearances, Hwang In-Yeop will play Sam-Yi. He is an enemy of Gu Ja-Hong. Actresses Seol Hyun and Lee Jae-In will play monterers Yeon-Yi and Bang-Sang. They hide around Gu Ja-Hong and Choi Seok.
“Human X Nine Tailed Fox” is now expected to premiere in the first half of 2027.
Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Gu Ja-Hong (Gianna Jun) is a talented and beautiful leading actress. It is also a gumiho (nine-tailed fox) and approximately 2,000 years old. Gu Ja-Hong, who has a talent for attracting people, is the source of big scandals. It’s no big deal for her to manipulate humans with her mystical and powerful abilities. One day, she meets Choi Seok (Ji Chang-Wook). He is the only human she cannot control with her power. His combativeness and interest increase with this threatening man Choi Seok.
Meanwhile, Choi Seok is an excellent shaman and director of the Oseong Museum. He seems easy-going, bright and cheerful, but he has a special ability to see and feel the dangerous things in the world. He begins to take an interest in Gu Ja-Hong as she freely invades his territory.
