Weekly Rants and Raves (RAWR) #474

Anne: Hello theater lovers! For those who missed Halloween last week… here’s a haunted house for everyone to enjoy.

The little boy made a great treat…all his friends came home…but his costume made him a little slow…the “walk” was hilarious and super cute because of how The suit was made, he dragged his feet… in short, quick steps.

He was very insistent on doing everything himself. But his visual field was impaired. While trying to catch up with his friends, he fell flat on his face at one point, in some small bushes. He was not injured. It was cute and funny at the same time. Obviously the air cushion inside the suit helped.

And their mom and dad had an adult night out.

And I took half a day off Friday morning…

And now let’s take a look at the new show I’ve been watching over the past two weeks.

Love game in The Eastern Fantasy

This popped up on my apps list over the weekend (apps I haven’t looked at in a while due to my excessive YouTube watching) and of course I have to check it out . There’s Esther Yu and Ding Yu Xi… both did these costume dramas that are a little offbeat, which I liked.

The drama tells the story of Ling Miao Miao, who was extremely disappointed by her favorite author’s new novel, and wrote a scathing review online. Then she lets herself be drawn into the “book” or rather into a “game” based on the novel (I really like the “transition”)

in the character of Lin Yu, the villain. Incredulous, she tries to leave…

…and is promptly struck by lightning…dead…and the end credits started rolling.

The FL discovers that the only way to return to her world is to complete the mini-tasks and a “secret” task (which turns out to be to get the villain Mu Sheng to “like” her by having a 100 impression % favorable of her. Lin Yu doesn’t think this is possible, because in the original story he was a brutal character with no empathy, who tortured Lin Yu (when she married him) and drove her to her death.

During the first 10 days, it’s like a tutorial, so she gets unlimited free lives. This turned out to be a very good advantage, as she died countless times while doing her “newbie” missions.

Like when she tried to “correct” the bad medicine from the original plot that harmed Mu Yao (Mu Sheng’s older sister). Due to his “editing” part of the plot, Mu Sheng ended up witnessing his sister’s bad reaction to the medicine and killing her dead. She comes back into the kitchen to try to figure out what went wrong. After more than a dozen tries, she runs out of ideas and settles for giving him boiled water. She thought she was pretty smart for a good 10 seconds before Mu Yao fell back! After disbelief, she finds the solution… and asks him to “kill me, kill me now!”

In her next task, she has to go burn a card that Mu Yao spent a lot of time repairing… she really couldn’t do it because she loved Mu Yao so much. So she decided to curse the game and tell it that she won’t do it!…and….

You see what happened.

She eventually accomplished the task.

When she realized she had to complete the “secret” task…she checked her favorability rating with Mu Sheng…it started at -200%…then dropped to -250%. .. But she made some progress and at least increased her rating to 0% by episode 6.

I love him. This reminds me Love between fairy and devil. And Tiger and Rose.

Looking forward to continuing!

And that’s it for this week. I hope everyone finds some interesting things to watch!
