Nana Seino is cast as the lead role in Fuji TV’s drama series “119: Emergency Call”. The drama series features an original screenplay by Natsu Hashimoto (“Mr. Bride”) and Keigo Koyanagi. Nana Seino will play an operator at the 119 emergency center. She decided to work in this field after suffering a fire at her home.
“119: Emergency Call” will first air in January 2025 in Japan (takes over Fuji TV’s Monday 9 p.m. time slot after “Usotoki Rhetoric”).
Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: In Yokohama, Yuki Kasuhara (Nana Seino) worked in a bank. Due to an incident, she decided to take the firefighter recruitment exam and passed it. She started working in this field for 2 years. Yuki Kasuhara was then transferred to the 119 emergency call center as she hoped. In her past, her house caught fire and she called 119 for help. She felt relieved by the voice of the person who answered her call. She wanted to become a 119 emergency operator, like the person who answered her call. Yuki Kasuhara has a bright personality and is the type of person who immediately puts his thoughts into action. With deep focus and excellent insight, she never misses a single piece of information when responding to an emergency call. On her days off, she goes to accident sites to check on the situation after the call. This sometimes creates conflict within the firefighting organization, but when faced with various people in their different situations, Yuki Kasuhara and his colleagues try to save their lives when tensions run high.
