First teaser poster added for U+mobiletv drama series “Friendly Rivalry” (literal title) starring Hyeri and Chung Su-Bin. The mystery thriller is based on the webcomic “Sunuiui Gyeongjaeng” by Song Chae-Yoon and Sim Jae-Young. The teaser poster features Hyeri as high school student Yoo Je-Yi and Chung Su-Bin as high school transfer student Woo Seul-Ki. The caption on the teaser poster reads: “Do you think she’s sincere? “Friendly Rivalry” will be available for streaming starting February 10, 2025.

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Woo Seul-Ki (Chung Su-Bin) grew up in an orphanage in a province. She moved to Seoul and enrolled at Chaehwa High School, which is a school for the top 1% of students in South Korea. Woo Seul-Ki doesn’t get along with the other students. A student named Yoo Je-Yi (Hyeri) approaches her and they become friends.

Yoo Je-Yi is the most powerful student in school. She has a high IQ, comes from a wealthy family, and is physically attractive. She has lived in the envy of others since birth and is aware of her superiority. She is also cunning enough to know how to take advantage of her position. She shows a particular interest in transfer student Woo Seul-Ki. Soon, they develop a dangerous relationship between friendship and obsession.
