Lee Jae-Wook & Shin Ye-Eun are interpreted in the dramatic television series Ena-Genie “Holdout Doctor” (literal working title). The dramatic series is based on the webcomic “Jonbeodoactor” by Kim Tae-Poong and directed by Lee Myung-Woo (“Boyhood”). For “Holdout Doctor”, Lee Jae-Wook will play the plastic surgeon Do Ji-Ii. He enlisted as a public health doctor, to meet his mandatory military needs and is responsible for working in a rural island village. There he meets the nurse Yook Ha-Ri (Shin Ye-Eun).

“Holdout Doctor” will be broadcast next year in South Korea.

Synopsis of the intrigue by Asianwiki: Do Ji-Ii (Lee Jae-Wook) is a visual surgeon and works in a university hospital. To serve as a public health doctor, who meets his mandatory military requirements, he leaves the hospital. He wants to avoid being affected to work on an island, due to a trauma he has on the island and the sea. Unfortunately for Do Ji-i, he is responsible for working in the insular village distant from Pyeondong-Do, which is a notorious island that each public health doctor wants to avoid. There, he meets the nurse Yook Ha-Ri (Shin Ye-Eun), who works in the Pyeondong-Do public health branch. She worked in a university hospital, but, for any reason, she came to Pyeondong-Do and works here as a nurse. She is passionate about her work and her affection for her patients, but she also has a secret.

Serving as a public health doctor in the insular village of Pyondong-Do, do Ji-I help the villagers of the island and learn the love of them, who are full of stories and personalities.
