One day, he is invited to take Sumire Takano, 85 years old (Chieko Baisho) of Shibamata, Tokyo in a care establishment for the elderly in Hayama, Kanagawa prefecture. On the way, Sumire Takano asks Koji Usami to make stops and she gradually opens to him. She begins to tell him about her past.
