The shooting was an attempt on the president’s life, but the First Lady is shot and later dies. An investigation takes place involving the chief inspector (Yu Hae-Jin) of the central police station, the head (Park Hae-Il) of the newspaper’s social affairs department, and the rookie reporter (Lee Min-Ho) of the social affairs department. The chief inspector, endowed with keen intuition and tenacity, and the passionate young journalist witnessed the assassination attempt firsthand. The head of the newspaper’s social affairs department unearths many unanswered questions regarding the investigation into the incident, despite the danger and pressure surrounding it.
