Trailer and stills added for the movie “Bogota: City of the Lost” starring Song Joong-Ki and Lee Hee-Jun. The film, directed by Kim Sung-Je (“The Unfair”), is set around 1997 in Bogota, Colombia. Song Joong-Ki plays Guk-Hui, who decides to start a new life there. The trailer begins with Song Joong-Ki stating, “Colombia, a single line of explanation in the geography textbook, is simply the land of coffee. »

“Bogota: City of the Lost” will be released on December 31, 2024 in South Korea.

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: In 1997, due to the IMF crisis, Guk-Hui’s (Song Joong-Ki) family business collapsed in South Korea. He and his family decided to move to Bogota, Colombia. To survive in this unknown country, Guk-Hui starts working for Mr. Park (Kwon Hae-Hyo), who is the most powerful person in the Korean Merchants Association. Guk-Hui works hard and attracts Mr. Park’s attention. As a test, Mr. Park places Guk-Hui in a clothing smuggling operation. Guk-Hui is almost arrested by customs in Colombia and he risks his life to protect Mr. Park’s merchandise. This makes a deep impression on both Mr. Park and customs broker Soo-Young (Lee Hee-Jun). Soon, Soo-Young makes Guk-Hui a dangerous offer.
