Ryoma Takeuchi and Ryoma Takeuchi are cast in Netflix’s live-action film “10DANCE.” The film is based on the manga series “10Dance” by Satoh Inoue and directed by Keishi Ohtomo (“Rurouni Kenshin”). Steeped in the BL genre, Ryoma Takeuchi and Ryoma Takeuchi will play two dancers who perform in different dance fields, but decide to team up for a global dance competition.

“10DANCE” will be available for streaming next year in Japan.

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Shinya Suzuki (Ryoma Takeuchi) is the Latin dancing champion in Japan. Shinya Sugiki (Keita Machida) is the Standard Ballroom champion in Japan and ranks second in the world. Even though these two men compete in different dance fields, Shinya Suzuki is still annoyed that they are compared due to their similar names. One day, Shinya Sugiki suddenly asks Shinya Suzuki to team up for the 10th Dance Competition. Competition dancers must perform 5 types of Latin dances and 5 types of standard ballroom dances. Shinya Sugiki suggests that they can teach each other their specialties in their respective dance fields. At first, Shinya Suzuki refuses the offer knowing how difficult it would be. He thinks the idea is reckless, but he eventually agrees due to Shinya Sugiki’s provocative nature which arouses his competitive nature. These two dancers, opposites in everything, become closer as they train daily for the dance competition. Shinya Suzuki realizes that he is attracted to Shinya Sugiki.
