Anne: Hello theater lovers! It’s been more than two months since I posted for the last time. Now … what I’ve been doing since then.

In early July, I went to the Netherlands for a work trip. I swear … I don’t know what a strange luck cloud that surrounded this trip … but it was a trip full of all kinds of “folds”. First of all, when I reserved the flight, I thought I had a lot: a business class for less than $ 3000, round trip. Well … it’s been a while since I have traveled for business … I didn’t know I was coming to Reagan and that I had to take off from Dulles. Situation 1: Yes, I did not know that I had a connection that was in two different airports. (And I live in Houston, where I advised other people to pay attention to the same thing.) And how I discovered, after, I wondered for 45 minutes at Reagan while trying to find a door that did not exist. Yes, you read that right, it took me forty-five minutes!

Now the right thing was that I have something to always have at least 4 hours between flights. (I receive the evil of transport in a plane, which is triggered by anxiety. No, not anxiety about flying, it is anxiety because I know that I will be sick on the plane. It is a vicious circle. When I was at the higher school, I took a trip where I vomited every 15 minutes for a 3 -hour plane trip. hours, I have always been able to establish my connection, in different airports at one hour from each other.

The site in the Netherlands is in fact in an industrial city, where there is really nothing interesting. From Amsterdam airport, I took a train to Maastricht (and no, I don’t think I said it right now.

Once at the hotel at the airport, I order a room service (because I had a series of messages to do something at work …). Then, my laptop … who did not completely bilish before leaving Maastricht … refused to load … at all! Situation 5. Immediately after getting what I had to finish for work, my laptop stopped. (This thing did not load for 3 days. I thought I had fried my battery. But I decided to try it a last time late Sunday evening, and he suddenly started to recharge! So relieved …)

I wake up at 6 a.m. the next morning, I see an opinion on my phone that my plane was delayed at four hours !!!!! Situation 6: So I spent about 6 hours for walking at the airport because I can’t work on a trip … and spend too much money to buy things. At least I didn’t miss my connection …

So it was my adventure during my work trip, the first and the good grace, probably the last one for a long time … it was too much stress for me 😁

And now on what I managed to watch since my last message …

Coroner Journal

I started to look at this because how can I not?! This is one of my favorite period dramas … Crime resolution. The story started with Shen Wan escaping the massacre of his family. She hid in a medical valley, where she was trained as a doctor, adding to her skills as a coroner whom she learned from her father. A few years later, she entered the Qin manor, disguised as ninth girl, Qin Wan. Later, she realized that her father’s “crime” was focused on Prince Jin’s crime (I forgot what number he is in the royal line).

She meets Yan Chi, the nephew of the emperor, who never believed that his cousin, Prince Jin, was guilty of murder and was on a mission to erase his name. You don’t take Yan Chi for a long time to realize that Qin Wan could help him with his goal.

The overall feeling between the FL and ML reminds me The Imperial CoronerBut Chu Chu and Prince Xiao were probably smarter of the two pairs. But there was much more romance between Qin Wan and Yan Chi.

The excessive intrigue was quite … incredible. But that connected some of the confusing things which, as a public, I was really perplexed. The insistence of the emperor to take over the army of the father of Yan Chi. The fight between the Empress and the favorite concubine, and the competition between their respective sons (and why the two were not the classic archetype of the dramatic land of Chins which would eventually take the throne). Why was Yan Su was deadly afraid of the emperor. The mysterious masked leader in “cult” that murdered all “bad” people. And it is just a little of the plot … It was a series of fairly complicated stories which was quite well done, in terms of storytelling.

I like the 2nd ML, Yan Li and Yue Ning, the 2nd fl.

The cutest pair was actually custody of Yan Chi (Bai Feng) and Qin Wan’s maid, Fu Ling.

I really enjoyed this. And this week, I will be impatient to start The detective sought.

Avenged love

It has been very long since there was a very good drama BL. But this one, despite the slightly stupid “revenge”, turns into one of the best BL dramas that I have seen in recent years. It is also longer than most of the others broadcast.

Wu Suo Wei (who changed his name) is devastated when his 3 -year -old girlfriend throws him because of his financial situation, then he loses his job, and hides in the neighborhood hospital of his friend (Jiang Xiao Shuai) because he did not want his mother to know that he lost his job. While trying to understand how to make money, he “discovers” that his ex-girlfriend is now going out with Chi Cheng, her deadly enemy whose life seems to make fun of Wu Wei’s efforts and struggles. And in a flash of radiance, he decided to ask his friend (whom he saw attracts men and women without even trying) to teach him to seduce Chi Cheng, to make him fall in love and to drop him without looking back.

With the knowledge of Wu Suo Wei … Chi Cheng needed a girlfriend because his father took all her animal snakes hostage until Chi Cheng is straightening up, stops being a weird and having a girlfriend.

As for some of the Taiwanese dramas BL, the configuration of the plot is really exaggerated. Chi Cheng and his sworn enemy / Best Friend, Guo Cheng Yu, and their love for snakes and steal the friends of the other. But the relationship as it develops between the 1st CP and the 2nd CP is very addictive to watch. It’s slow to broadcast … so I save the remaining episodes until it is finished. I know full well that we are heading for massive sorrow, so … I’m waiting not to have to wait a week to find out what’s going on.

And how many of us have been surprised by the dissemination of ABO desire? I barely started that because I have never really entered the ABO universe, but I’m always surprised that they did this drama. Looking forward to seeing if it’s good.

A dream in a dream

I put this at the end because I haven’t finished this one yet (because my husband wanted to look at him with me), even if it was the first that finished all the episodes compared to the above 3.

How many of us had to take a second glance at Li Yi Tong, because at first glance (especially in this personalized makeup), does it look very much like Bai Lu? And how many of us have been surprised when it became a drama of 40 episodes? I saw so much from this foundation of the plot in the short dramas, I wondered how in the world they were going to extend this troop in a story of 40 episodes.

I love everything about it so far, although the beginning seems a little slow compared to the rest of the story. I loved that she was so sure that she could beat the system trying to marry her childhood darling, while everything in the universe was trying to stop her. And then the world just decided to screw this and sent it back 6 months later.

The best kiss of the two most reluctant people of all time!

I can’t wait to see how it develops.

And how much do I have the appearance of Liu yu ning in this area !! It is really suitable for these roles, where the character is slightly bad … but not really at the end.
