Release date set for SBS drama series ‘Human From Today’ starring Kim Hye-Yoon and Lomon. The fantasy drama/romantic comedy series is now scheduled to air from January 16, 2026, taking over from “Taxi Driver 3” on SBS on Fridays and Saturdays at 9:50am. Meanwhile, photos were released of the first script reading of “Human From Today” which took place on September 28, 2024. Present at the first script reading were Kim Hye-Yoon, Lomon, Lee Si-Woo, Jang Dong-Joo, Choi Seung-Yoon, In Gyo-Jin, Lee Seung-Joon, Hong Soo-Hyun, Yu Hwan, Kim Tae-Jung, Ji Seung-Jun and Kim Tae-Hee. According to the production team of the drama series, they said that there are many stories based on gumiho folklore, but “Human From Today” will offer its own unique and fun version, with an original setting and worldview. Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Eun-Ho (Kim Hye-Yoon) is a gumiho, known in folklore as a mythical creature with 9 tails. It is different from other gumihos. She doesn’t want to become a human unlike the other gumbos. She enjoys her eternal youth which never changes. She picks out the funny parts of the human world and enjoys them herself. To avoid becoming human, she refrains from small virtues and from accumulating small bad deeds. One day, an unexpected incident occurs.
Kang Shi-Yeol (Lomon) is a world-class footballer. He is the best striker of a famous foreign football club. As a footballer he has achieved many firsts and he shines brighter than the club itself. He is also the king of narcissism. His life is perfect, but one day, Eun-Ho appears in front of him. His life suddenly changes.
