Trailer added for the film “Sham” Starring Go Ayano, Kou Shibasaki and Kazuya Kamenashi. The film is based on the 2007 novel “Detchiage Fukuoka Satsujin Kyoshi Jiken No Shinsou” by Masumi Fukuda and directed by Takashi Miike. The film revolves around a case that is based on a true story. A teacher played by Go Ayano is accused by the mother of a student played by Kou Shibasaki of having abused his son’s physical, bringing his son to commit suicide.

“Sham” will be released on June 27, 2025 in Japan.

Synopsis of the intrigue by Asianwiki: in 2003, the teacher of the primary school Seiichi Yabushita (Go Ayano) was accused by Ritsuko Himuro (Kou Shibasaki) of physically mistreat his son Takuto Himuro (Kira Miura) as a bodily punishment. Journalist Michihiko Narumi (Kazuya Kamenashi) obtains a wind from the case and reports the case using the real name of Seiichi Yabushita in the article. His article shakes the whole nation and Seiichi Yabushita becomes the target of the media. The life of Seiichi Yabushita is ruined.

Meanwhile, there are countless voices supporting Ritsuko Himuro and a large legal team of 550 people is formed for Ritsuko Himuro. The case is transformed into an unprecedented civil lawsuit. Practically everyone gets out and expects Ritsuko Himuro to win the case. The trial begins.
