Karin Ono is cast in the lead role in the NTV-YTV drama series “The Unknown Me”. Fumika Baba, Katsumi Hyodo and Teppei Koike are also present for major supporting character roles. The thriller drama series will see Karin Ono playing Mei Haneda. One day, she wakes up to find that she doesn’t remember anything from the past year.

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Mei Haneda (Karin Ono) wakes up to find that she has lost her memory for a year. Her life is different from the dreary everyday life she remembers before losing her memory. She discovers that she has her fiancée Kanata Nishijima (Teppei Koike), who is a respected and supportive doctor, a new job, and her friend Midori Shinohara (Fumika Baba), who she thought was dead. Although Mei Haneda is quite confused about the current situation, she realizes that she has the happiness she desired in her past. But it’s all lies. Little by little, Mei Haneda begins to lose the precious objects around her and she even becomes a suspect in a murder. She decides to find out what happened over the past year that she doesn’t remember. A shocking truth awaits Mei Haneda.
