Kim Moo-Yul cast in drama “True Education”

Kim Moo-Yul stars in the drama series “True Education” (literal title). The drama series is based on the webcomic “Chamkyoyook” by Chae Yong-Taek and directed by Hong Jong-Chan (“Mr. Plankton”). In the drama series, a new government organization is created called the Teacher’s Rights Protection Agency. Kim Moo-Yul will play Na Hwa-Jin, who is a member of this agency. He is assigned to problem schools and goes there as a supervisor, but can use any method to discipline students.

Filming of “True Education” is expected to begin in the first half of next year.

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: School teachers struggle to discipline students and often don’t even have the will to do so. The authority of teachers in the classroom collapses, leading to serious social problems. The National Assembly and the Minister of Education adopt the amendment to the law on the protection of teachers’ rights. With the adoption of the law, a new government organization, the Agency for the Protection of Teachers’ Rights, is created. Na Hwa-Jin (Kim Moo-Yul) belongs to the Teachers’ Rights Protection Agency. He is sent to a problem school as a supervisor. There he can educate students without any restrictions or limitations.
