Main trailer and poster added for Netflix drama series “Last Samurai Standing” starring Junichi Okada. Along with the release of the main trailer and poster, actor Hiroshi Abe was announced to appear in the drama series. Hiroshi Abe will play Gentosai Okabe, described as Gentosai Okabe’s most terrifying swordsman.

“Last Samurai Standing” will be broadcast on November 13, 2025 with a series of 6 episodes.

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Late at night in 1878, 292 highly trained samurai gathered at Tenryuji Temple in Kyoto to participate in a dangerous battle royale. They are lured there by the offer of 100 billion yen for the grand prize. Each participant receives a wooden label. Whoever makes it to Tokyo will win the prize. Shujiro Saga (Junichi Okada) participates in this dangerous game to save his sick wife and child.
