Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: The story takes place in 2020, when the world is forced into a lockdown caused by the pandemic. Shinsaku (Masaki Suda) works for a large company in Tokyo and is passionate about fishing as a hobby. He falls in love at first sight with a four-room apartment whose rent is only 60,000 yen in Minamisanriku, Miyagi Prefecture. Thanks to remote work caused by the pandemic, he began an experimental move to the seaside town of Minamisanriku. Between his jobs, he often goes to the sea to fish. The townspeople are worried by the appearance of Shinsaku, whom they consider to be a foreigner from Tokyo. Shinsaku is initially confused by the actions of the locals, but thanks to his positive and active personality, he is able to blend in with the locals. An unexpected life awaits him.
