Updated teaser poster and release date for the film “One Win” starring Song Kang-Ho, Park Jeong-Min and Jang Yoon-Ju. The volleyball-themed film is written and directed by Shin Youn-Shick, who recently worked with Song Kang-Ho in the Disney+ drama series “Uncle Samsik.” The teaser poster’s caption reads “Win once.”

“One Win” will be released in December 2024 in South Korea.

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Kim Woo-Jin (Song Kang-Ho) is a former volleyball player and now a volleyball coach. His career as a volleyball coach was not great. His winning percentage is less than 10% and his personal life has suffered a similar decline, going through layoffs, bankruptcies and divorces. One day, he receives an offer to become the coach of the Pink Storm women’s professional volleyball team. The term, however, is on the verge of disappearing. After their star player transfers to another team, the Pink Storm consists of so-called dregs like Bang Soo-Ji (Jang Yoon-Ju). The team is barely able to survive even with the appearance of new owner Kang Jeong-Won (Park Jeong-Min). Meanwhile, Kang Jeong-Won is obsessed with the Losers’ growth story. He makes a surprising promise. He promises to give the team 2 billion won if they can win a single game. Because of the promise, everyone is focused on the Pink Storm. Now, the team made up of coach Kim Woo-Jin and players accustomed to losing every match only want to win one.
