Tomoya Nakamura is cast in the TBS drama series “Dream Stage”. Seven-member group NAZE is also featured for the drama series. The group NAZE is composed of 4 Korean members, 2 Japanese members and 1 Thai member. They were trained by CJ ENM Japan and Korean talent agency C9 Entertainment over a period of three years. For the drama series “Dream Stage”, Tomoya Nakamura will play Jun Azuma. He is a former music producer, but he was kicked out of the music industry following an incident. He then meets the boy band NAZE and is inspired by their quest to reach the top.
“Dream Stage” will first air in January 2026 in Japan (takes over TBS’s Friday 10 p.m. time slot after “Fake Mommy”).
Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Jun Azuma (Tomoya Nakamura) is a former music producer. He was known as a genius producer, who used unconventional methods, while leveraging the talents and personalities of his band members. Following an incident, he was kicked out of the music industry and gave up on the dream he was pursuing.
NAZE is a seven-member K-pop boy band. They aspire to reach the top of the music scene. Jun Azuma, who knows the dangers of chasing a dream, tells the NAZE members the reality of their situation. Soon, Jun Azuma became inspired by NAZE and a bond deepened with the group members. Jun Azuma starts walking towards his dream again.
