Jung Kyoung-Ho and Jeon Yeo-Bin will star in the ENA-Genie TV drama series “Tempting Romance.” Choi Dae-Hoon and Kang Mal-Geum are also cast in major supporting roles. The romantic comedy drama series will be directed by Lee Chang-Min (“Cashero”). In “Tempting Romance,” Jung Kyoung-Ho will play anchor Na Yi-Jun. He is demoted to a current affairs show with low ratings. Jeon Yeo-Bin will play Seo Hae-Yun. She is a writer for the current affairs program. As they work to save the program, they also develop feelings for each other.
“Tempting Romance” will first air in the first half of 2027 in South Korea.
Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Na Yi-Jun (Jung Kyoung-Ho) is the main anchor of a news channel. He is the youngest presenter to reach this position, but he is facing the biggest crisis of his life due to premature andropause (male menopause). His condition causes him to suffer from mood swings and abnormal symptoms. During a live broadcast, these symptoms hit him. Due to his actions during the live broadcast, he is transferred to a current affairs show. The program suffers from low ratings and is on the verge of cancellation. There, Na Yi-Jun meets writer Seo Hae-Yun (Jeon Yeo-Bin), who works for the current affairs program. She doesn’t shy away from ratings rumors and is a seasoned veteran who has worked for various broadcast stations. Even though Seo Hae-Yun seems a bit tough, she cares a lot about her colleagues.
Na Yi-Jun and Se Hae-Yun initially clash at every turn, but they begin to work together to save the program. Their relationship also develops.
