Kim Ji-Won is cast as the lead role in the SBS drama series “Doctor X”. As the title suggests, “Doctor Also cast for the SBS drama series version are Lee Jung-Eun, Son Hyun-Joo and Kim Woo-Seok. In “Doctor X”, Kim Ji-Won will play Kye Soo-Jeong. She is an independent and highly qualified surgeon. She is also unorthodox and not afraid to clash with the status quo.

“Doctor X” will premiere next year in South Korea.

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Kye Soo-Jeong (Kim Ji-Won) is a genius surgeon. Introduced by Jang Hee-Sook’s (Lee Jung-Eun) doctor placement agency, Kye Soo-Jeong is placed at Guseo University Hospital to fill a vacant surgical position. She proves her worth with her surgical skills and exposes the absurdities of the medical field. She becomes involved with Bu Seung-Kwon (Son Hyun-Joo), director of Guseo University Hospital, and intern Park Tae-Kyeong (Kim Woo-Seok).
