Kong Hyo-Jin and Jung Joon-Won are cast in the MBC drama series “Killer of Married Woman” (literal title). The drama series is based on the popular webcomic “Yubunyeo Killer” written by Yoon and illustrated by Geomdung and directed by Yoon Jong-Ho (“Lovely Runner”). In the action drama series, Kong Hyo-Jin will play a married working mother who secretly works as an assassin. Her husband Kwon Tae-Seong (Jung Joon-Won) works as a journalist.

“Killer of Married Woman” will be broadcast in South Korea next year.

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Yoo Bo-Na (Kong Hyo-Jin) and Kwon Tae-Seong (Jung Joon-Won) have been married for 5 years and they have a 4-year-old daughter. Yoo Bo-Na is also an assassin for a secret killer organization and her job is to assassinate heinous criminals. She is renowned as a marksman and is known as the Kingfisher. Yoo Bo-Na does not reveal her identity as a murderer to anyone, even her husband Kwon Tae-Seong. She pretends to work in an ordinary company around her family. After taking 3 years of maternity leave, Yoo Bo-Na returns to work as an assassin. She now tries to reconcile her dangerous job and her hectic family life. Meanwhile, Kwon Tae-Seong works as a journalist. One day he is ordered by his boss to cover for a killer known as Kingfisher.
