Ma Dong-Seok, Lee Jin-Uk and Lalisa Manobal are cast in the Netflix film “Tygo”. The film is written by Cha Woo-Jin and directed by Lee Sang-Yong. Cha Woo-Jin and Lee Sang-Yong, as well as Ma Dong-Seok, previously worked together in the film “The Roundup: No Way Out.” The story of “Tygo” follows a mercenary, Tygo (Ma Dong-Seok), who goes on a revenge mission to rescue his kidnapped partner, Ria (Lalisa Manobal). The film is also set in the same universe as the popular Netflix action film franchise “Extraction”.
“Tygo” will premiere on Netflix next year.
Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Tygo (Ma Dong-Seok) grew up as a war orphan and is now a mercenary. He only lived to survive in a war zone. As a mercenary, he has a team that includes Ria (Lalisa Manobal). Ria is like family and a friend to Tygo. They have spent difficult and dangerous days together since Ria was little. While Tygo and his team complete a crucial mission, Ria is kidnapped by Arman Choi’s (Lee Jin-Uk) criminal organization. Tygo embarks on a life-threatening mission to save her.
