Marika Matsumoto and Ken Yasuda are thrown into the dramatic series TV Asahi “Ubai Ai, Manatsu.” The dramatic series is scripted by Osamu Suzuki. Osamu Suzuki previously wrote the scenarios of the Dramatic TV series asahi 2017 “Ubai ai, fuyu” (“Winter, Grasping Love”) and 2021 TV Asahi Drama Series “Ubai Ai, Koko Kyoshi”. For “Ubai AI, Manatsu”, Marika Matsumoto will play Manatsu UMINO. She begins a new life after having broken with her boyfriend and started a new job in a watch business. She meets the CEO (played by Ken Yasuda) of the surveillance company on the first day of her work and she is surprised that he looks so much like her ex-friendly friend.

“Ubai AI, Manatsu” will be broadcast for the first time in July 2025 in Japan (took control of the Asahi TV on Friday 11:15 pm after “the monster inside”).

Draw the synopsis by Asianwiki: Manatsu Umino (Marika Matsumoto) is a woman who works hard. She has been alone since her only member of the family, her mother, died in an accident. Manatsu UMINO works in the editorial department of a weekly photo magazine, which publishes scoops on politicians and celebrities. She is not satisfied with her work. Manatsu Umino decides to break with her boyfriend, Hayato Oura (Ken Yasuda) whom she promised to marry. To start a new life, she leaves her job and begins to work as a representative of public relations for the company of Watches Towani. The first day of work in her new business, she meets CEO Taimu Sorachi (Ken Yasuda). He looks so much like his ex-friend Hayato Oura.
