Seishiro Kato is cast in the NTV-YTV drama series “Kimi ga Shikei ni Naru Mae ni”. The suspense drama series that involves time travel features an original screenplay by Hayashi Mori (“Classmate no Joshi, Zenin Sukideshita”) and Yuki Takeda (“Mother Game”). For “Kimi ga Shikei ni Naru Mae ni”, Seishiro Kato will play Kotaro Sakabe. He gave up his job at an insurance company and became more reclusive. “Kimi ga Shikei ni Naru Mae ni” will first air on April 2, 2026 in Japan (takes over NTV’s Thursday midnight timeslot after the conclusion of “My Fave, the Killer.”)

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: The execution of Shiori Ookuma, who was convicted of a series of murders targeting teachers, takes place. Meanwhile, Kotaro Sakabe (Seishiro Kato) and his two friends travel 7 years into the past, when the serial murder case was ongoing. Kotaro Sakabe and his two friends meet Shiori Ookuma, wanted for the murders of the teachers. Shiori Ookuma pleads with them that she didn’t kill anyone. Kotaro Sakabe and his friends are unsure whether or not they believe her, but Shiori Ookuma continues to exhibit suspicious behavior. Meanwhile, a series of teacher murders continues unabated. Could she be the one who committed the murders?
