Anne: Hello theater lovers! Ok…I was going to post pictures of the error message I’ve been receiving for THREE days while trying to download the Minecraft launcher for my son.
For what? Because he’s attending a Minecraft summer camp, where I’m sure they just play Minecraft all day… But he needed the Java version of the game (apparently he can’t use the version on his tablet), and he I needed to activate this multiplayer mode. Understand that Microsoft is our corporate operating system, I use this thing ALL day. And I know how to research topics online. I can find almost any information. I even fixed my blocked freezer using Google. I was pretty confident. But THREE days later, I was tearing my hair out and couldn’t figure out why the launcher wouldn’t download, and I couldn’t figure out how to enable multiplayer.
Now… why did I say I was going to post the error message? Because today I called my brother for help. I swear the ONLY thing he did differently was ask me to allow my Xbox account to change his (since I created his account as a child account), and whatever happened happened after that, I have no idea. Because all of a sudden, even though the launcher still didn’t seem to download, it suddenly appeared in my apps. Hmm. WTF!?
Anyway…since he resolved my issue over the phone, I don’t have any error messages to post for demonstration.
Since my problem is resolved, let’s talk about some shows I’ve been watching over the past few weeks, starting with my current obsession!
(Update: I’ve been practicing all day, and this has to be one of the strangest statements I’ve heard in this field. We were talking about motivators to do a better job, and money , although important, is not a motivator for work It is a fundamental need which, if not satisfied for the individual, can act as a demotivator This context is. important because the next thing our trainer said was, “If money was the motivator, we would all be calling for prostitution and making a lot more money.” I thought…well. …not men…hehe.)
Double
I was about to start posting last week, when I decided to check this out. And then I finished all the episodes in two days. Since then, I’ve been chasing it.
The story is based on a book called “Di’s Daughter’s Wedding”. While the book is a rebirth story where FL’s soul transmigrated into the eldest daughter of the Jiang family, the drama simply ignored the transmigration part.
The drama begins with Xue Fang Fei, who wakes up to a strange man in her bed, accused of adultery by her mother and sister-in-law. After some confusing scenes, she is then “killed” by her own husband (Shen Yu Rong), and buried in the middle of the forest. She fights her way out of her grave and is saved by Jiang Li (who was thrown into a “women’s correctional facility” when her mother-in-law identifies herself as a “murderer” who tried to kill the mother-in-law). mother and her unborn child. In order to help Xue Fang Fei, Jiang Li gets caught breaking the rules of the “establishment” and is beaten quite badly. The moment Xue Fang Fei finds Jiang Li, the girl dies from her injuries and Xue Fang Fei swears revenge on Jiang Li and herself. Xue Fang Fei discovers that her downfall led to her brother’s death by bandits and her father’s accusation of embezzlement of government funds.
As she prepares to return to the Jiang family, she meets Xiao Heng (Duc Su), a man, according to the book’s author, suffering from a personality disorder who did not care about anyone until he meets the FL.

The drama captured the colors of her dress and her fan, which is her main weapon of choice. In the drama, Xiao Heng is a man who helps the emperor thanks to his scheming uncle and aunt. (In the book, Xiao Heng actually helps the emperor’s enemies in an attempt to make the emperor view himself as the most trusted subject. Yes. Xiao Heng in the book suffers from a more mental disorder deep.) Xiao Heng is a man who loves beauty. things, raises exotic flowers and loves watching plays. (This “play” watching is a recurring theme, explaining how he is always the person setting the stage but never participating in the play.) This oddity is not as pronounced when depicted in the screen. On either side of this man are his two “helpers”.

They’re a bit like the comic relief of Xiao Heng, when the Duke gets a little too into himself. These two characters didn’t really exist (as depicted) in the book, and I really appreciate their addition to the tone of this series.
It soon becomes clear that Fang Fei’s husband and his family did all this because the First Princess (the Emperor’s aunt) fell in love with Shen Yu Rong and wanted to get rid of his wife. (Because obviously a princess can’t marry someone who already has a wife.) Even after 21 episodes, I can’t tell if Shen Yu Rong is truly conflicted about what he should do, or is he acts simply because he has no choice in the face of the threat. of the royal family. (He’s not on screen much, so it’s hard to tell.) Yes, the First Princes are crazy and evil, but she’s also crazy about Shen Yu Rong. (In the book, it is clear that Shen Yu Rong is a power-hungry man who is capable of acting “righteously” to deceive the public.) Regardless, these two make a GREAT pair sworn enemies of the main PC. And they’re pretty too!

Now, because this isn’t a rebirth story, Jiang Li still “looks” like Fang Fei, so the drama does a good job of explaining how everyone who knew Fang Fei would go on and act like she was Jiang Li. Jiang Li was able to elevate her position in her family after forcing her father’s hand to bring her home. She has outwitted her stepmother who constantly tries to get rid of her and her younger sisters who help her. It doesn’t explain in the drama that Jiang Li is the second Miss Jiang, the explanation of who the “First” is hasn’t really been clarified. (In the book, the first Miss Jiang was the child of her father’s maid before marrying Jiang Li’s mother. Because Jiang Li’s mother was a good person, she raised Jiang Li’s wife room to the rank of concubine when she gave birth to a daughter. This first Miss Jiang was killed by the mother-in-law, who is currently the main wife of the Jiang family, when she was young. Jiang Li’s mother-in-law gets rid of all of her husband’s “other” children.)
As of now, 21 episodes have been aired, and Jiang Li’s true identity is probably not as well hidden as before. Even Xiao Heng knows at this point that she is Xue Fang Fei. I really like this plot, and let’s see if they can keep the same tone until the end. (The only weird thing was viewing the “song” playing during the competition at school. It was a bit exaggerated, and I didn’t know why it was necessary.)
There are many differences between this drama and the novel, giving both their own tone of voice. (And I love them both!) One of the main differences is that at this point in the plot, in the novel, there really isn’t any real “romance” between the main CP, part because FL is only 15-16 years old, and our ML (even though he’s only 20) sees her as a young girl. The ML is constantly surprised by her vision, her projects and her understanding of the world around her, although she is a very sheltered girl, in everyone’s knowledge. Unless something else distracts me… I’ll follow this closely until the end.
My wife’s double life

This was actually the drama I started before the one above, but once I started watching the other one I didn’t follow along as quickly. I could have sworn this drama was called something else. This drama is about Liu Rong, who works as a thief (a bit like Robin Hood) for her benefactor, who saved her when she was little. From the beginning, we know that Liu Rong saved Xu Mu Chen and he has been in his debt ever since. And because he “saw” the memory he gave to the little girl who saved him on the “thief”, he ends up trying to both help her and catch her.
Due to a marriage decreed by the king, Liu Rong, under the order of Lord Su, assumed the identity of his daughter and married Xu Mu Chen. Liu Rong is ordered to find a certain token hidden somewhere on her husband’s property.
Although the plot is quite engaging, the chemistry of the main CP is not as good as the series mentioned above. This is a good drama to watch out for in between each other’s new episodes.
The Player 2: Master of Swindlers

I spend a lot of time watching season 1, which I really enjoyed. The crew reminds me of Leverage. Kang Ha Ri is the scammer, Im Byung Min is the computer scientist/hacker. Do Jin Woong is the muscle. And the girl as the driver. In season 1, they worked with the police to pursue those who escaped justice. Season 1 had a purpose, the plot surrounded the death of Ha Ri’s father and the plot behind it.
Season 2 started out very vague and there didn’t seem to be any purpose. I haven’t gotten past the first episode yet, but since I like the team, I’ll continue.
It’s all things to all people. Hope everyone is having a good week!
(BTW…The second half of Bridgerton is ALMOST here!!!)
